Administrators can configure alerting policies to trigger notifications to essential contacts based on predefined conditions or events, such as changes to access permissions, unauthorized access attempts, or system outages.

Prerequisites

Hardware : GCP

Google account

Essential Contacts are used to send the notifications of our GCP to external users.

Open Cloud Console

Open Menu > IAM & Admin > Audit Logs

Click on Add Contact.

Give the mail ID and select the Notifications which you need. Click Save.

The contact added with specified notification categories.
