            1. Elasticity:<\/strong> Ability to automatically expand or compress the infrastructural resources on a sudden up and down in the requirement so that the workload can be managed efficiently.<\/li>\n
            2. Example: workload increases during festive season like Christmas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Elasticity<\/strong><\/td>\nScalability<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              Elasticity is used just to meet the sudden ups and downs in the workload for a small period.<\/td>\nScalability is used to meet the static increase in the workload.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
              Elasticity is used to meet dynamic changes, where the resources needed can increase or decrease.<\/td>\nScalability is always used to address the increase in workload in an organization.<\/p>\n

              It is short-term planning and adopted just to deal with an unexpected increase in demand or seasonal demands.<\/td>\nScalability is a long-term planning adopted just to deal with an expected increase in demand.<\/p>\n
